You know, Black men are not the only men who run like hell to not to take care of their kids. That is a universal male problem. Men have always been able to move out and move on stick women of all races holding bhe bag. So in truth Barak could have adressed all american fathers, instaed of sterotyping black male. I am black and my parents have been married for 37 years. My father was an RN and worked double shift, after double shift to keep clothes on our back and food in our mounths, as did his father who in the Jim Crow south as a meat cutter. My mothers father, while not providing much emotional warmth, and he could be rediculously cheap owned his own barbershop, and was married to my grandmother, he also was able to provided enough money for each of my aunts to pay for two years of college. Neither of my grandmothers had to work while her children were grown. Fathers walking out is a generational thing, you have and are rasing a generation of people that go into perment things with a Temporary mind set and they have divorce happy generation x parents to thank for that. They think only off themselves, and regarless of vows and responsiblities they are out the door.. And even if Black men run more than white males, I know plenty of financially supported white children that have absolutely no real contact with there children. Hussein Obama is truthful, then you need to do your homework – check #1 his voting record (that one might not work as his campaign has removed the controversial issues)against #2 his speeches (make sure to look at 7-3-08 where he flips in a speech from the am to a speech in the pm)against #3 his proposed policies, against his history both #4 personal(the man swims in a pool of radicals)and #5 professional(never mind this one too, as he has no professional history – no experience) against #6 his commercials (which by the way have no basis in fact). Do you need examples:
#1 & #2 he has voted to unequivocally against the war, but now that the war is obviously working, he has gone back and forth from “there are no number of brigades that will make a difference…” to “if we sent 30,000 more brigades we could have an impact on the outcome…” to “I have always said that we should send no more brigades to Iraq…”
#3 & #5 “We need to start pulling out at of rate of 2-3 brigades a month to be out within 16 months” and the fact that he released this plan before stepping foot in Iraq or meeting with it’s commanders just screams of his inexperience.
